Scalp Micropigmentation

Alopecia is an auto immune disease that causes sudden, unexpected hair loss. Alopecia areata is where hair loss happens in small patches that can come and go, stay or connect progressing to a more severe form of alopecia such as alopecia totalis. Scalp micropigmentation can conceal the patches of hair loss making them practically unnoticeable.

Scarring usually happens on the scalp following injury or surgery, like a hair transplant scar.  Scalp micropigmentation can conceal the scars by implanting replicated follicles in and around the scar to make it blend in with the rest of the hair. Scalp micropigmentation can also help with some healing of the scar, the procedure helps to soften the scar tissue which can restore health to some of the injured skin.
